UMBRO AND KARIOBANGI SHARKS FC ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP

Nairobi, Kenya, July 2019:

Umbro is pleased to announce a long-term technical partnership with Kenya’s Kariobangi Sharks FC.

Umbro will be the exclusive technical partner of the Sharks, supplying the team from Kariobangi with best-in-class competition, training and off-field apparel. Supporters gear featuring the global sportswear brand’s double diamond logo will be available for fans to purchase.

Founded in 2000, Kariobangi Sharks FC entered the Nairobi league’s Division II and steadily progressed to secure promotion to the top-tier Kenyan Premiership League for the 2016/2017 season.

The Sharks have since gone on to make significant additions to their trophy cabinet as reigning Kenyan Super Cup champions, 2018 SportPesa Shield winners, and a SportPesa Super Cup victory that will see the club face English Premier League side Everton in July 2019.
