UMBRO AND BOTSWANA PREMIER LEAGUE ANNOUNCE BALL DEAL

12th September 2019, Gaborone, Botswana:

Umbro is pleased to announce that it has signed a partnership agreement to become the official match ball supplier of the Botswana Premier League for the next three seasons, beginning in September 2019.

The deal will see Umbro become the exclusive supplier of match balls for all league games, providing the league with the FIFA-approved Neo Pro match ball.

Designed to meet football’s highest standards, the Neo Pro match ball features a 14-panel construction layered with Teijin microfibre and hexa-dimple texture for greater touch and control.

Umbro is currently the technical partner of BPL side, Township Rollers FC, as well as the Botswana National Team.

David Ricketts, CEO at Umbro South Africa, expressed his excitement at Umbro’s growing presence in the region, saying: “We are proud of our association with Botswana football and are excited to further this relationship by partnering with the country’s premier league.”
